Hannibal Lector / Anthony Hopkins

Apart from a drawing of my niece as a gift for my sister-in-law, this was the first proper drawing I’d done for about ten years (2009, the beginning of my more recent sketching phase). I loved doing it – I listened to Bach’s Goldberg Variations (like Hannibal did in his cell) and by the evening felt delirious. I can’t tell if it a sense of craziness from having concentrated so much, or sheer euphoria from the relaxation of listening to music all day.
